The Thirteenth International AAAI Conference on Web and Social Media (ICWSM-19) was held June 11-14, 2019 in Münich, Germany.  The conference general chair was Jürgen Pfeffer. The conference program cochairs were Ceren Budak, Yu-Ru Lin, and Fred Morstatter. The conference was sponsored by the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence. 

Now in its thirteenth year, ICWSM has become one of the premier venues for computational social science, and previous years of the conference have featured papers, posters, and demos that draw upon network science, machine learning, computational linguistics, sociology, communication, and political science. The diversity of research that comprises the program reflects several grand challenges in a global technology-mediated society. The uniqueness of the venue and the quality of submissions have contributed to a fast growth of the conference and a competitive acceptance rate. Papers in this proceedings were carefully reviewed by 66 senior program committee members, 117 program committee members, and 328 additional reviewers. Of the 238 papers submitted in the Full Paper Track, 51 (21.4 percent) were accepted for publication. In the short-paper track, 33 papers were submitted and 7 (21.2 percent) were accepted. Four demos were submitted and 1 (25 percent) was accepted. The dataset paper track received 17 submissions and accepted 9 (52.9 percent) of them.
