Abstract

We present a set of tools that were developed for an exper- imental music project in which an album was created with 1,000 distinct variations and released as a digital limited edi- tion. The tools enable the parameterisation of musical com- positions created in the popular music software Ableton Live such that timelines of musical elements can be composed as keyframes and interpolated between.
