The Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence’s 2026 Summer Symposium Series (SuSS-26) was held on June 22-June 24, 2026 in Seoul, South Korea. This AAAI Symposium Series fosters a more intimate environment, enabling emerging AI communities to engage in workshop-style discussions. The two and one-half day format of the series allows participants to devote considerably more time to feedback and discussion than typical one-day workshops. The topics change each year, ensuring a dynamic venue that stays current with the evolving landscape of AI research and applications.
This year, the program included the following four symposia:
- AI-Driven Resilience: Building Robust, Adaptive Technologies for a Dynamic World
- AI in Business: Intelligent Transformation and Management
- Architectures for Embodied Agents: A Synergy of Classic and Foundation Model Paradigms
- Human-Aware AI Agents for the Cyber Battlefield: From Human Models to Autonomous Defense
